"After having gotten used to whey protein powder and its thick consistency, I was a little bit thrown off by the hemp protein texture. I can deal with the texture difference but the vanilla flavor was not a strong as I would have liked it to be. I mixed mine with non-fat milk and fresh frozen strawberries. I am wondering if I need to switch to regular milk to achieve a thickness. I may also try a vanilla milk to get more of the flavor. As I said...its not bad, just takes some getting used to. Otherwise, its a good alkalizing food."
