Combine almonds and water in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Grind fresh cacao pods in a coffee grinder to make cacao powder (you can also purchase raw cacao powder instead). Combine 3 cups of your homemade almond milk, cacao powder and all other ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until creamy and smooth.
Tastes better with ice to chill the smoothie.
