Good For You Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cups regular oat flakes
  • 2 1/3 cups rye flakes
  • 2 1/3 cups spelt flakes
  • 1 cup wheat bran
  • 1 cup Hemp Hearts
  • 1 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup of raisins

Directions

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and toss the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Gently heat the oil, honey and cinnamon together in a small saucepan, whisking well. Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredient mixture. Stir well to coat and then pour onto a baking sheet or two forming a thin even layer.

    Bake for 40 minutes or so. Stir well every 10 minutes and continue to bake until the granola is golden and crispy. Let cool and then stir in raisins.
