Ingredients
Chipotle BBQ Flatbread
- 1 cup shredded cooked chicken (optional)
- 1/2 cup + 4 tbsp. BBQ sauce
- 5 tbsp. Manitoba Harvest Hemp Heart Toppers - Chipotle, Onion & Garlic
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or vegan cheese of choice)
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 flatbreads (sub for vegan flatbread)
Rosemary Margherita Flatbread
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 5 tbsp. Manitoba Harvest Hemp Heart Toppers - Onion, Garlic & Rosemary
- 10 thin slices of tomato (about one large tomato)
- 10 thin slices of fresh mozzarella (or vegan mozzarella)
- 6 basil leaves, chopped
- Balsamic vinegar (optional)
- 2 flatbreads (sub for vegan flatbread)
Pear, Brie & Caramelized Onion Flatbread
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 5 tbsp. Manitoba Harvest Hemp Heart Toppers - Maple & Cinnamon
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 16 slices of brie (or vegan cheese of choice)
- 1 pear, sliced thinly
- 2 flatbreads (sub for vegan flatbread)
Directions
Chipotle BBQ Flatbread
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Add chicken, 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, and 3 tbsp. of Hemp Heart Toppers - Chipotle, Onion & Garlic to a bowl and stir until combined.
- Divide remaining BBQ sauce on top of the two flatbreads and spread evenly.
- Cover flatbreads with cheese and top with chicken and red onion. Put the flatbreads onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, top with cilantro and remaining Hemp Heart Toppers - Chipotle, Onion & Garlic and enjoy.
Rosemary Margherita Flatbread
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce and 3 tbsp. of Hemp Heart Toppers - Onion, Garlic & Rosemary.
- Divide tomato sauce on top of the two flatbreads and spread evenly.
- Top each flatbread with 5 slices of fresh mozzarella and 5 slices of tomato.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, top with basil, remaining Hemp Heart Toppers - Onion, Garlic & Rosemary, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and enjoy.
Pear, Brie & Caramelized Onion Flatbread
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Add 2 tbsp. of olive oil and sliced onion to a pan and saute for 10-15 minutes. Add 3 tbsp. of Hemp Heart Toppers - Maple & Cinnamon to the onions and stir until combined. Remove from heat.
- Cook garlic in a small pan until transparent.
- Divide olive oil and cooked garlic on top of the two flatbreads and spread evenly.
- Top each flatbread with 8 slices of brie, 8 slices of pear, and caramelized onions.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, top with remaining Hemp Heart Toppers - Maple & Cinnamon and enjoy.
