Pumpkin Spice Trail Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond meal
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tbsp. natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/4 cup Organic Hemp Hearts – Manitoba Harvest
  • 1 1/3 cups almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven 300°F. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment.
  • Combine honey, vanilla, almond meal, salt, pumpkin pie spice, peanut butter.
  • Stir in hemp hearts, almonds, chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds.
  • Press into the pan tightly and evenly.
  • Bake for 20 min. Cool for 1 hour. Refrigerate 1 hour to firm.
  • Slice into 8 bars.
